"Left 4 Dead 2" review
BrittanyTennant

"Left 4 Dead 2" features a new cast of human survivors, which include Coach (voiced by Chad Coleman), a high school football coach with a bad knee; Ellis (voice by Eric Ladin), a mechanic; Nick ( voiced by Hugh Dillion), a gambler and conman; and Rochelle (Rochelle Aytes), a low-level production assistant reporting on the evacuation for a local TV station.

The sequel occurs only a few weeks after the original. Just as with "Left 4 Dead" the infected are the same, with only a few new boss infected and the introduction of the uncommon infected.

All of the original boss infected remain (the Boomer, the Hunter, the Tank, and the Witch), but Valve added three new ones to "Left 4 Dead 2" (the Jockey, the Spitter, and the Charger). Types of uncommon infected include zombies in hazmat suits and riot gear, and clowns.

"Left 4 Dead 2" was released Nov. 17th, and in two weeks sold a more than two million retail copy which is more than double that of the original.
Just like in "Left 4 Dead," there are five campaigns to play though and online you can play as the boss infected (except the witch).

When I played this game it seemed to be the same as the original, and for me easy mode was hard. In the end of the first campaign you fill up a car that you drive away with, and at the beginning of the next campaign the road is blocked with many cars so you and the rest of the survivors have to walk.

This is what Valve wanted to do with the first game, yet didn't because they thought players wouldn't like it. Well, I like it because it tells you more about the story and the characters that you're playing as.

Another thing that Valve added was about 2,000 more lines of dialogue between the survivors. The dialogue tells the story along with the graffiti on the walls of the safe houses.

But what will screws you up when you're playing are in Hard Rain when it rains, you cannot see anything and I suggest to you that you do not make a move so that you are not attacked by zombies that you cannot see.

The addition of melee weapons is a wonderful one, but the best use of them would be in close quarters with zombies, the rest of the time I suggest you use guns.

"Left 4 Dead 2" deserves the hard earned five out of five for zombie mayhem and merriment to all that loved the original.
